Everyone Must Register Again to Access JSTOR from Home

Everyone who would like to access JSTOR from home will need to register again for a JSTOR account from the library's database page.  JSTOR requires this registration about once a year to "prevent students who have graduated from accessing JSTOR through your school's account."

If you are at school you will not need to login to access JSTOR articles.

Instructions are on the database page.

Register for NoodleTools!

Many of us were sad to learn that Bedford Bibliographer has not been updated for the 7th edition of the MLA Handbook.  No worries--we've gotten a subscription for something much better--NoodleTools.  This resource will help you format citations for both MLA works cited pages and Chicago style bibliographies.  Additionally,  NoodleTools will help you format MLA parenthetical citations and Chicago style notes!

But NoodleTools is so much more than a citation generator!  It also gives you a place to organize your research into digital note cards that can be sorted, tagged, and arranged in a variety of ways.  This high tech tool will also analyze your bibliography or works cited to help you see what types of sources you've used.

Ready to try it?  Go to http://www.noodletools.com/login.php?group=8210&code=7315 and click on Create a Personal ID.  Enter the library's password (the same one you use to access the database page--if you don't know what this is, check with a librarian) and you'll then be able to make a personal account.

Need help?  Come by and see Mrs. Akers or Mrs. Evans and we'll get you set up.
